Using the Compare Tool

Compare Between Two Lists from Textbox

  1. Select Data Source for List A:
    Choose "Textbox" from the dropdown labeled "Data Source for A: Textbox".
  2. Enter Data for List A:
    Write or paste the data you want to compare into the textbox labeled "Enter Data for List A...".
  3. Select Data Source for List B:
    Choose "Textbox" from the dropdown labeled "Data Source for B: Textbox".
  4. Enter Data for List B:
    Write or paste the data you want to compare into the textbox labeled "Enter Data for List B...".
  5. Case Sensitivity (Optional):
    Check the "case sensitive" checkbox if you want the comparison to consider case sensitivity.
  6. Compare Lists:
    Click the "Compare List" button to initiate the comparison process.

Compare Between Two Lists from CSV Files

  1. Select Data Source for List A:
    Choose "CSV" from the dropdown labeled "Data Source for A: CSV".
  2. Upload CSV File for List A:
    Click on the "Choose File" button and select the CSV file containing the data for List A.
  3. Select Data Source for List B:
    Choose "CSV" from the dropdown labeled "Data Source for B: CSV".
  4. Upload CSV File for List B:
    Click on the "Choose File" button and select the CSV file containing the data for List B.

Compare Between a List from Textbox and a List from CSV

  1. Select Data Source for List A:
    Choose "Textbox" from the dropdown labeled "Data Source for A: Textbox".
  2. Enter Data for List A:
    Write or paste the data you want to compare into the textbox labeled "Enter Data for List A...".
  3. Select Data Source for List B:
    Choose "CSV" from the dropdown labeled "Data Source for B: CSV".
  4. Upload CSV File for List B:
    Click on the "Choose File" button and select the CSV file containing the data for List B.

Viewing Comparison Results

  • Only in List A:
    Displays the unique results that can only be found in List A.
  • Only in List B:
    Displays the unique results that can only be found in List B.
  • In Both Lists:
    Displays items found in both List A and List B.

Downloading Results

  • Download Only in List A:
    Click the "Download" button next to "Only in List A" to download the unique results from List A.
  • Download Only in List B:
    Click the "Download" button next to "Only in List B" to download the unique results from List B.
  • Download In Both Lists:
    Click the "Download" button next to "In Both Lists" to download the items found in both List A and List B.
