Easily Split Files and Text

How to Use this Splitting Tool

Decide whether you want to split text or files before proceeding with the splitting process.

Splitting Text from Textbox:

If you choose to split text:

1. Textbox Input:
   - Select the "Textbox" option from the dropdown menu labeled "Data Source".
   - Input the text you want to split into the provided textbox.
2. Splitting Options:
   Choose how you want to split the text:
   - Split by Number of Records: Specify the desired number of records or lines to split the text into.
   - Split by Size per File (KB): Specify the size in kilobytes (KB) at which each split file should be created.
3. Optional Settings:
   - Include Header: Check the "Include Header" option to include the first row as a header for each split file.
4. Initiate Splitting:
   Click the "Split" button to start the splitting process.

Splitting Data from CSV:

If you prefer to split CSV files:

1. CSV Input:
   - Select the "CSV" option from the dropdown menu labeled "Data Source".
   - Click the "Upload CSV" button to select the CSV file you want to split.
2. Splitting Options:
   Choose how to split the CSV data:
   - Split by Number of Records: Specify the desired number of records or lines for each split file.
   - Split by Size per File (KB): Specify the size limit for each split file in kilobytes (KB).
3. Optional Settings:
   - Include Header: Check the "Include Header" option to include the first row as a header for each split file.
   - Use Original Filename: Check this option to retain the original filename for each split file.
4. Initiate Splitting:
   Click the "Split" button to commence splitting the CSV data.

Additional Options:

• Reset:
  Click the "Reset" button to clear all input fields and reset the tool to its initial state.
